The AND operator is a logical operator used to combine two or more conditions. For a row to satisfy an AND expression, all specified conditions must evaluate to TRUE.

Business requirements often contain multiple conditions that must be satisfied simultaneously. AND allows analysts to create precise filters using multiple rules.

A manager may want employees who work in Finance and earn more than ₹75,000. Both conditions must be true for the employee to appear in the result.

SQL
SELECT
    EmployeeName,
    Department,
    Salary
FROM Employees
WHERE Department = 'Finance'
AND Salary > 75000;

AND is commonly used in employee analysis, customer segmentation, transaction monitoring, compliance checks, financial reporting, and sales analysis.
